1978 – Mexican Miguel Canto defended his WBC Flyweight title by defeating Thai Tacomrom Viboonchai by a 15-round decision. The bout took place in Houston, Texas.
1982 – In a fight between two Americans held in Atlantic City, New Jersey, Dwight Qawi defended his WBC Light Heavyweight title by knocking out Eddie Davis in the 11th round.

2010 – Argentine Sergio “Maravilla” Martinez scored an impressive two-round knockout against American Paul Williams in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The WBC Middleweight title was contested in this fight.
