Victor Cutman will serve as the cutman for the WBC Boxing Grand Prix finals in Saudi Arabia on December 20, a role he has held throughout the entire tournament.
Victor said: “Thank you for having us here. Many people see me on TV and tell me they want to be like me, but I had to restart my career four times.
It’s an honor that people trust my ability as a cutman. I’ve worked over three thousand fights where my fighter has been cut, and not once has a bout been stopped because of it. The WBC Boxing Grand Prix has been the toughest challenge I’ve ever worked in combat sports.”
The WBC put together a top-tier medical team for this tournament. Their response is incredibly fast. Mauricio told me this event was his father’s dream, and because of what that means, I promised him that none of the fights would be stopped.”
