Pitbull unleashing First Defense of His WBC Title

After a long-awaited rematch with Ángel Fierro that never materialized, Isaac “Pitbull” Cruz accepted at the last moment that Omar Salcido would be his opponent in the bout for the WBC Interim Super Lightweight Title.

“Pitbull” came out victorious from that exacting fight and took the belt home. Now, the first opponent for his title defense has been announced, and the Mexican pugilist will face a tough challenger.

On Saturday, December 6, at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas, USA, Isaac “Pitbull” Cruz will face Lamont “Reaper” Roach.

Roach, with a record of 25-1-2 and 10 KOs, is coming off a draw earlier this year against Gervonta Davis.

Isaac enters the bout with a record of 28-3-1 and 18 KOs.
