Julio César Chávez Underwent Surgery

The legendary champion Julio César Chávez underwent emergency surgery this Sunday after experiencing discomfort the day before.

Fortunately, the operation performed in Culiacán, Sinaloa, was a success.

A kidney stone was detected in the great Mexican champion’s urinary tract, requiring a surgical procedure that lasted approximately one hour and was completely successful.

Dr. Juan Carlos Ramírez commented: “I have been monitoring the champion’s health here in Culiacán for a long time, and this time he has a slight pain caused by a stone in the urinary tract, so the urologist, Iván Aguilar, proceeded to remove it.”
