
On September 13 at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, the world will witness a spectacular clash between two of the best pound-for-pound fighters of the last decade.
Live on NETFLIX. Saúl “Canelo” Álvarez and Terence “Bud” Crawford will face off in a massive fight for the undisputed super middleweight title.
Canelo, a multiple world champion in four divisions, enters as the biggest star in Mexican boxing and a global sports figure. Across from him will be Crawford, an undefeated fighter with impeccable technique that has led many to consider him the most complete fighter of his generation.

“Canelo’s” career has been closely linked to the WBC, as he has represented the organization for many years with outstanding results in his professional career. We recall some important points below:
-In 2008 he was chosen by the WBC to enter the “Ring Telmex” program.
-In 2009 he won the NABF championship as well as the WBC youth championship.
-In 2010 he won the WBC Silver title by defeating the Argentine Luciano Cuello.
-He conquered the vacant WBC super welterweight championship defeating Matthew Hatton in 2011, defending it 7 times.
-He conquered the middleweight title and won the WBC Diamond belt, by defeating Puerto Rican legend Miguel Cotto in 2015.
-He participated in the first “Fight for Peace” event of the Pope Francis Foundation “Scholas Occurrentes” and the “BoxVal” program in 2016 defeating Amir Khan.
-He regained the WBC middleweight championship by defeating Gennady Golovkin on September 15, 2018.
-He won the WBC super middleweight title by defeating Britain’s Callum Smith, successfully defending it 3 times.
– He made 3 defenses of his green and gold title, also winning the WBO, IBF and WBA titles. He defeated Turkish Avni Yildirim, British Billy Joe Saunders and American Caleb Plant
– He defeated Kazakh Gennadiy Golovkin in the closing of a great trilogy.


On May 6th, 2023, Canelo successfully defended his Undisputed World Super Middleweight Championship, defeating tough British John “The Gorilla” Ryder by unanimous decision, at the Akron Stadium in Jalisco, Mexico. Then on September, He defeated Jermell Charlo by decision in Las Vegas, in an excellent fight.


On May 2024, Canelo defeated Jaime Munguía in a great performance.

On September 2024, Canelo thoroughly, efficiently and brilliantly dominated Puerto Rican Edgar Berlanga

Last May, Álvarez regained his title as Undisputed Super Middleweight World Champion by defeating elusive and unwilling to engage Cuban William Scull by unanimous decision in 12 rounds in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Canelo is set to face undefeated American Terence “Bud” Crawford on September 12 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
