Tiara Brown Could Defend Her WBC Featherweight Title in Houston

WBC featherweight world champion Tiara “The Dark Menace” Brown (19-0, 11 KOs) is scheduled to make the first defense of her belt on September 20 during the OTX 16 event in Houston, Texas.

Brown won the title last March in Australia, when she defeated the previously undefeated Skye Nicolson by split decision in a close fight where her pressure and bodywork made the difference in the final rounds. With that victory, Brown remained undefeated and improved her record to 19 wins, 11 of them by knockout.

Although the defense has not yet been officially confirmed, the fight in Houston appears to be the designated date for Brown’s debut as the champion of the famed Green and Gold.
