WBC and Morelos State sign a jumbo Boxing Agreement 

The WBC and the State of Morelos have signed an agreement to strengthen boxing in the State of Morelos, 

This week Martes A Cafe branched out to Centro Cultural Teopanzoleo, in front of some beautiful historic pyramids. 

WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman said:”This is a great Agreement, because for ten years we together have done this boxing program and now it’s formal and more dedicated and I am sure it’s going to bring great benefits to the Society of the great State of Morelos. 

“The Governor is a dear friend and she has shown how important it is look at the basics of sports, boxing and health.”

Governor Margarita Gonzalez Saravia is pledging to build ten gyms throughout the State. She said that initiatives bring opportunities. 

The Governor said this program will particularly help the East of the State which needs resources. She stressed the need for teachers and infrastructure.

 Dra Eunice Rendon Director of KO No Tires La Toalla which has brought boxing to prisons was a guest and spoke of the success of the program spanning ten years. Radical reduction of drug addictions, the forgiveness phase,,reintegration into the family and society. 

The Governor crystallized the new beginning with the slogan and battle cry: “Viva Boxeo!”
