All Set for Claressa Shields’ Undisputed Title Defense

Claressa “T-Rex” Shields and Lani Daniels are set to fight this Saturday after successfully making weight.

Claressa “T-Rex” Shields

The American superstar holds an undefeated record of 16 wins, with 3 coming by knockout.

In just her third professional bout, she captured the WBC Silver Middleweight title. One fight later, she became WBC World Middleweight Champion.

In March 2019, Shields achieved her first undisputed championship by defeating Christina Hammer to unify all major middleweight titles.

Over the next two years, she captured the WBC Super Welterweight title and later became the undisputed champion in that weight class as well.

In 2022, she defeated Savannah Marshall to once again reign undisputed at middleweight.

Earlier this year, after a few more fights and a WBC Heavyweight World Title win, Shields added the undisputed heavyweight championship to her already historic résumé.

Lani “Smiling Assassin” Daniels

The New Zealand  fighter holds a record of 11 wins, 2 losses, 2 draws, and 1 knockout.

Daniels is a two-division world champion, having held titles at light heavyweight and heavyweight.

This will mark the first time she fights for a WBC title.
