Alberto “Avispa” Puello will defend his current crown, the WBC super lightweight world championship, against Subriel “Orgullo de Maternillo” Matías. 

This fight will be part of the “Ring III” card, which will be held on July 12 in New York, United States. 

The venue for the fight will be the Louis Armstrong Stadium located in Queens. 

Shakur Stevenson and Willam Zepeda will be part of this card in the fight for the WBC lightweight world title. Likewise, Edgar Berlanga will fight Hamzah Sheeraz. 

Alberto “Avispa” Puello has an undefeated record of 24 wins, 10 of them by KO. 

Subriel “Orgullo de Maternillo” Matias holds a 22-2 record. All of his victories have been by knockout.
