WBC Update on cruiserweight division

As previously reported the Cruiserweight category has had a variety of complications in recent years. The WBC Board of Governors provided a ruling to attend the situation at that time which has now been updated with the current happenings in 2025:

WBC champion Badou Jack will fight Noel Mikaelyan, who was placed as champion in recess, the fight will take place on May 3 in Riyadh.

The interim title which was authorized for Michal Cieslak vs Yamil Peralta found complications to be staged thus the Board authorized the interim title to be contested between Cieslak and Jean Pascal in a date to be determined in Canada with the winner committed to fight Peralta.
