Riyadh Season WBC Boxing Grand Prix About to Start

At Coffee Tuesday, the Boxing Grand Prix was presented through a video that explained the first world boxing championship in history.

Here are some highlights:

• From April 17-20
• at the BLVD City Global Theater in Ryadh, Saudi Arabia.
• ​​There will be four divisions: featherweight, super lightweight, middleweight, and heavyweight.
• There will be 128 boxers, 32 per division.
• A single-elimination tournament.
• The first phase will have 64 fights.
• The next stages will follow in June, August, and October, with the grand finale in December.
• All participants will receive a medal.

Mauricio Sulaiman, President of the WBC, presented the official Boxing Grand Prix gloves. One boxer will wear green gloves and the other gold ones.

The “José Sulaiman” Trophy was also presented. It will be awarded to the Boxing Grand Prix winners.

Various ambassadors from around the world in Mexico were present to witness the announcement of the Boxing Grand Prix:
