AS PER THE RULINGS FROM THE WBC ANNUAL CONVENTION IN HAMBURG AND THE ACTIVITY WHICH HAS AFFECTED EACH DIVISION
HEAVYWEIGHT
- Oleksandr Usyk defended his title and won by UD12 in the rematch vs Tyson Fury.
- Agit Kabayel fought Zhang Zhilei winning the WBC heavyweight interim championship on February 22 in Riyadh.
BRIDGERWEIGHT
- Kevin Lerena vs silver champion Serhii Radchenko was announced at the convention.
* The fight will take place in South Africa on May 1.
- Krzysztof Włodarczyk vs Adam Balski was approved for the interim Bridgerweight title
* The fight will take place in Poland on may 24.
CRUISERWEIGHT.
- Badou Jack was returned back to champion from his champion in recess status.
- Badou Jack vs Ryan Rozicki to be his first challenger.
* The fight will take place on May 3 in Riyadh.
- Yamil Peralta and Michal Cieslak are set to fight for the interim title.
*There has been no communicattions about this fight.
- Noel Mikaelyan was placed as champion in recess due to promotional disputes.
*The WBC has been officially notified that such disputes have been resolved.
LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT.
- Undisputed champion Artur Beterbiev will fight a rematch with Dmitry Bibol on February 22 in Riyadh.
*Bivol Defetaed Beterbiev and is now Undisputed champion.
- Interim champion David Benavidez will fight David Morrell on February 1.
*Benavidez won and confirmed his status as mandatory contender.
- The winner will be the mandatory challenger of the division to fight the winner Beterbiev vs. Bibol.
*The fight has been ordered and if there is no agreement a purse bid will take place on April 8.
SUPERMIDDLEWEIGHT.
- Champion Saul Alvarez is in voluntary stage.
- Jaime Munguia was ordered to fight Christian Mbilli for the interim championship.
*Munguia lost a fight after the convention and is now scheduled for the rematch which will happen May 3 in Riyadh.
- A tournament is to be restructured within the top contenders of the division who are available.
* WBC has ordered Mbilli vs Pacheco for the interim title if no agreement is reached a purse bid will take place April 8.
MIDDLEWEIGHT.
- Champion Carlos Adames will have two mandatories. Firstly, against Hamzah Sheeraz on February 22 in Riyadh. Then, the winner fights Meirim Nursultanov.
* Adames defended his title in Riyadh on February 22.
* Adames vs Meirim has been ordered, if no agreement is reached a purse bid will take place om may 6.
SUPERWELTERWEIGHT.
- Champion Sebastian Fundora will fight Errol Spence.
*Spence has withdrawn from fighting.
- Mandatory challenger Terence Crawford,who won a final eliminator in this division has not confirmed his status to the WBC.
*Crawford decided not to continue in this division
- Serhii Bohachuck won a final elimination on December 21, 2024 vs. Ishmael Davis.
- Interim champion Vergil Ortiz will fight Israil Madrimov on February 22 in Riyadh.
*Vergil defended his title in Riyadh.
- Sebastian Fundora defended his title against Chiordale Booker on march 22 in Las Vegas
WELTERWEIGHT
- Champion Mario Barrios made a voluntary defense against Abel Ramos.
- Souleymanne Cissokho was to fight Egidijus Kavaliauskas in a final eliminator, but he got hurt; WBC is waiting for the information of the new date.
*The fight will take place in New Guinea on May 10
SUPERLIGHTWEIGHT.
- Champion Alberto Puello will make his mandatory defense against Sandor Martin on March 1 in New York. If Sandor wins, he will be allowed a voluntary defense.
*Puello defended his title by decision.
- Antuane Russell was granted an indirect rematch.
*Russell Competed for another organization.
- Dalton Smith will fight Walid Ouizza a final elimination for the mandatory position.
*The fight will take place April 19.
LIGHTWEIGHT.
- Champion Shakur Stevenson will make a voluntary defense against Floyd Schofield on February 22 in Riyadh.
*There was a last minute substitute due to injury and Stevenson defended by KO9 vs. Josh Padley.
- Interim champion William Zepeda is healing from a shoulder injury.
*Zepeda defended his title on March 29th in a rematch vs Tevin Farmer.
SUPERFEATHERWEIGHT.
- Champion O’Shaquie Foster is in voluntary stage.
- A final eliminator fight was ordered between Mark Magsayo and Eduardo “Rocky” Hernandez. Both fighters will have a tune up fight before fighting the final elimination.
*The purse bid is schedule for April 8.
FEATHERWEIGHT.
- Champion Brandon Figueroa will make a voluntary defense against Stephen Fulton on February 1.
*Stephen Fulton conquered the WBC title.
*The winner will fight champion in recess Rey Vargas immediately next.
- Bruce Carrington will fight an eliminator fight, which could be accepted as final elimination.
*Bruce Carrington won a final elimination vs Enrique Vivas on march 29 in Las Vegas.
SUPERBANTAMWEIGHT.
- Champion Naoya Inoue will make a voluntary defense against Sam Goodman on December 24 in Tokyo.
*Goodman has withdrawn from this fight and Inoue will defend on January 25 vs Ye Joon Kim.
*Inoue defended on January 25.
*Inoue will defend his title on May 4 vs Ramon Cardenas in Las Vegas.
BANTAMWEIGHT.
- Champion Junto Nakatani has faced all the number one contender during the year. He is in the voluntary stage.
- Nakatani will defend vs. David Cuellar on February 24 in Japan.
*Nakatani knocked out Cuellar in 3 rounds.
SUPERFLYWEIGHT.
- Champion Jesse Rodriguez defeated Pedro Guevara in his latest bout and is in voluntary stage.
- Andrew Moloney vs Roman “Chocolatito” Gonzalez to fight final elimination for the mandatory position.
*Neither fighter replied thus cancelling this order.

- Champion Kenshiro Teraji is in voluntary stage.
- Interim Champion Galal Yafai won the interim title on November 30, 2024.
- Mandatory challenger Francisco “Chihuas” Rodriguez has been waiting for 2 years. It was ordered the mandatory fight Galal Yafai vs. Francisco Rodriguez.
