
WBC welterweight champion Natasha Jonas will fight Lauren Price this Friday, March 7, at the Royal Albert Hall, United Kingdom, on a card that will be exclusively for women in the framework of International Women’s Day.
Jonas will enter the ring with more experience and a record of 16-2-1 with 9 KOs. Her last fight was on December 14, when she defeated Ivana Habazin by unanimous decision in Liverpool.
Price, Olympic champion in Tokyo 2021, has an undefeated record of 8-0 with 2 KOs, Her OST recent appearance was also on the same card as Jonas in December, when she defeated Bexcy Mateus by technical knockout.
This Thursday, both fighters passed the official weigh-in. Jonas registered 146 pounds, while Price stopped the scale at 145 pounds.
The card is promoted by Boxxer and will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.
