German heavyweight Agit Kabayel won the interim World Boxing Council heavyweight title by impressively knocking out Chinese giant Zhilei “Big Bang” Zhang in the sixth round, on the undercard of the “The Last Crescendo” card headlined by Artur Beterbiev vs Dmitry Bivol II, at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Kabayel was unrelenting. He comprehensively weakened Zhang with body shots and despite a knockdown in the fifth round, he got up and sent Zhang to the canvas in the sixth to achieve this victory.

With this triumph, Kabayel raised his record to 26-0, with 18 knockouts, while Zhang fell to 27-3-1, with 22 knockouts.
