A young boy Ruzgar Savas was visited by WBC Turkey in the person of Oksana Semenishina and Serdar Avci before the New Year.

Ruzgar is 5 years old and last year his leukemia was in remission. Unfortunately, this year Ruzgar faces the illness again and now he is undergoing chemotherapy.

His mother Nazan Savas is a ring official of the Turkish Professional Boxing Commission. Ruzgar received gifts and financial support from WBC Turkey. Also he had a boxing bout with his brother with his mother refering.

His father, a boxing coach, was in his corner. The winner of the fight, Ruzgar Savas received the WBC Turkey belt. The whole family is fighting Ruzgar’s leukemia and helping to defeat cancer.
