Artur Beterbiev (20-0, 20 KOs) and Dmitry Bivol (23-0, 12 KOs) made their grand arrival in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for the fight that will take place on Saturday, where the undisputed world light heavyweight championship will be at stake, at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh.
Beterbiev assured that his knee is 100% recovered and he is ready to step into the ring.
Bivol made it clear that he must be focused to defeat his rival, because he cannot allow himself the luxury of making a mistake against a knockout artist.
“I feel good physically and fully recovered from my injuries. Now I am not thinking about anything else but winning. We will see how tough Bivol is on October 12,” commented Artur.
“This is a dream fight for every fighter and I am very happy to have this opportunity. I have been waiting and working hard. Now I have to work in the ring to leave the ring with my hand up,” said Dmitry.
Artur has only 20 professional fights, but in each and every one he has knocked out his opponents.
Bivol comes into this match with an undefeated record of 23 wins with 12 knockouts, in a career that began in 2011.
