WBC mourns the passing of Ifigenia Martínez

Ifigenia Martinez, President of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Deputies in Mexico, passed away at 94 years old.
In her long and distinguished political career, Mrs. Martinez stood out for being co-founder of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean, being characterized throughout the political posts of which she was a part, by her promotion of human rights and gender equality, having an outstanding and fruitful career.
