1981.- At the Stadio de Pini, Viareggio, Italy, Filipino Rolando Navarrete conquered the WBC super featherweight title by knocking out Ugandan Cornelius Boza Edwards in the fifth round.

1981.- North American Saoul Mamby defended his WBC super lightweight title by defeating Thomas Americo from East Timor by decision. The match took place in Jakarta, Indonesia.

1987.- Ghanaian Azumah Nelson defeated Mexican Marcos Villasana by decision in Los Angeles, California. The WBC featherweight title was on the line in this bout.

1998.- At the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Seoul, Korea, local fighter Injoo Cho won the WBC super flyweight title by defeating Filipino Gerry Peñalosa.

1999.- Thai Veeraphol Sahaprom knocked out Japanese Joichiro Tatsuyoshi in the seventh round in Osaka, Japan. In this fight the WBC bantamweight title was disputed.

2018.- Thai Wanheng Menayothin defended his WBC straw-weight title by defeating Filipino Pedro Taduran by decision in Nakhon Sawan, Thailand.

2020.- American Jose Carlos Ramirez defended his WBC super lightweight title by defeating Ukrainian Viktor Postol by decision in Las Vegas, Nevada.
