Ready for Wellness Weekend Fight Night

As part of the efforts to promote culture and sports, Chiquita Boxing joins Wellness Weekend Fitness Expo 2024, the most important health and sports event in Mexico where sports, health and wellness are one and the same.

You will find the main brands related to health and wellness, gym equipment, nutritional supplements, clothing, footwear, accessories, sporting goods and everything related to the fitness industry from August 29 to September 1.

Here are the details of the Tuesday Coffee press conference that took place today at the CODEME institution.

The fight will take place at the Pepsi Center this Friday, August 30 in Mexico City and will be broadcast to all of Mexico and other countries around the world through ESPN Knockout.

In the main event, former world champion Mauricio “Bronco” Lara will return to action, when he faces Pedro Delgado in the main event of the “Wellness Weekend Fight Night” which will be presented by the legendary Humberto “Chiquita” Gonzalez, in association with Alejandro Brito of Boxstrs.

With a record of 26-3-2, the former featherweight world champion wants a new world title opportunity, but he has to overcome Pedro Delgado and thus take the first step towards that long-awaited fight. It will be a 10-round super featherweight fight.

Also competing in the event will be undefeated Randy Leon, who is undefeated with a record of 14-0, seven by knockout, and who will fight for the WBC Fecarbox Silver lightweight title against Jose Angel “Mantequillita” Napoles (17-2-2, 9 knockouts).

Another title in dispute will be the WBC Youth Silver welterweight title, where Mauricio “Demoledor” Estrada, undefeated with a record of 12-0, 6 by knockout, will face Fabian “Lobito” Trejo (8-1, 3 knockouts).

Jose “Chapulin” Salas, with a record of 15-0, 10 by knockout, will also have action in an eight-round fight against Lamberto Macias.

Mauricio “Demoledor” Estrada, undefeated with a record of 12-0, 6 by knockout, will fight against Fabián “Lobito” Trejo (8-1, 3 knockouts), who will have his first fight of the year.
