
On Friday, July 19, Venezuelan Carlos ¨Triple C¨ Cañizales will face Mexican Iván García for the Silver light flyweight title of the World Boxing Council, in a welcome return of an international card to Venezuela, in the emblematic Poliedro of Caracas.
Caracas fighter Carlos Antonio Cañizales, will enter the ring for the second time this year, after losing in January by majority decision against Japan’s, Kenshiro Teraji (23-1) in a Fight of the Year Candidate.
Born in Ixtapaluca, Mexico, Iván García will return to Venezuela, after his controversial draw for the WBC international title against local, Rodrigo Ramírez at the end of 2023.
