McCaskill faces Habazin in Croatia

WBC welterweight champion, North American Jessica McCaskill, will fight her mandatory challenger Ivana Habazin, on April 20 at the KC Drazen Petrovic, a venue named after the late NBA star, in Zagreb, Croatia.

Ivana’s promoter, Piranha Promotions, won the rights to promote the fight in a purse bid on December 1 of last year, so the event will take place in Croatia.
McCaskill (12-3-1, 5KOs), a two-division champion, comes into this fight after drawing with Britain’s Sandy Ryan last September.
For her part, Habazin (21-5, 7KOs) comes into this fight after defeating the Hungarian Timea Belik by decision last September.
