On This Day, Roy Jones defended his world title

January 15^th , 2000. -Roy Jones from the US, who was champion in four  different categories, defended his WBC light heavyweight championship after defeating his compatriot David Telesco, by UD.  The fight was  at the Radio City Music Hall in New York. The Referee was Arthur Mercante and the judges were Melvina Lathan, Luis Rivera and Sid Rubinstein.
