Southpaw Mexican, Freddy Castillo, defeated Venezuelan Luis “Lumumba” Estaba, with a fourteenth round KO, becoming WBC light flyweight Champion. The event was promoted by Rafito Cedeño and it was held at the Nuevo Circo in Caracas, Venezuela. The Referee was American Jay Edson.
