Umi Ishikawa conquered WBC Silver title

At the Singmanassak Muaythai School in Pathum Thani, Thailand, Japanese Umi Ishikawa (11-3-0, 9 Kos) defeated Thai Sothita Sitthichai (8-3-0, 1 Kos) by knockout.

The match began with the Japanese fighter looking to stop her rival, although Sothita tried to counter her attacks but Umi’s quality was superior.

In the third round Ishikawa connected with power to the Thai, who fell.

With this triumph, Umi Ishikawa won the World Boxing Council Silver Straw-weight title.
