57th WBC annual convention to be held in Cancún, Quintana Roo

Cancun, which means “nest of snakes” in the mayan language, has been one of the most important Meccas of boxing, not only for having a beautiful scenery, being a magical place, full of history and tradition, where dreams come true, but also because this paradisiacal place has been linked with boxing since ancient times and this year will not be the exception.

Cancun goes back to making history; it will be the venue hosting an event that brings international boxing stars together and it is the only one which has an agenda of boxing presentations, medical clinics and talks, approval of the world rankings, appointment of official challengers for each champion in the 17 divisions, seminars for ring officers, judges and referees; enrich and update boxing, always thinking about the safety and health of the boxer, of course we refer to the annual WBC convention in its 57th edition, which will be held from October 21 to 26 and will have a Mayan theme.

It is said that the Mayans believed in a basic principle for life: “spiritual balance, an act of life where all human beings vibrate in the same harmony, continuing with this, we want you to transform, vibrate and reinvent boxing with us, because this year the WBC has prepared great surprises for you!
