Former heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder will return to the ring against seasoned contender Robert Helenius in an explosive showdown presented by Premier Boxing Champions on Saturday, October 15 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Tickets for the event, which is promoted by BombZquad Promotions and TGB Promotions, will go on sale Friday, August 19 at 10 a.m. PT. m. ET and can be purchased through seatgeek.com and barclayscenter.com.
Wilder (42-2-1, 41 KOs), one of the greatest knockout artists in boxing history, is on a “Guided missile mission” to become a two-time heavyweight world champion after a first reign that included 10 title defenses, a feat accomplished by only seven heavyweights in boxing history.
The “Bronze Bomber” now returns to the Barclays Center, a venue where he fought four times and thrilled the crowd with some of his most spectacular knockouts.
Helenius (30-3, 19 KOs) is recognized as a dangerous fighter with two straight knockout wins over previously undefeated Adam Kownacki. Born in Sweden and fighting out of Mariehamn, Finland, Helenius established himself as one of the best heavyweights in Europe before making his debut in the United States in 2019.
