The WBC and its President Mauricio Sulaimán, mourn the passing of Mike Stafford, a respected trainer who worked with many fighters from his hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Stafford unfortunately died this Wednesday night at the age of 67. Mike worked for more than three decades with professional and amateur boxers. He ran the Cincinnati Golden Gloves gym. In his career he trained fighters of the quality. Adrien Broner, Rau’shee Warren, Robert Easter Jr., Jamel Herring, among others.
The entire WBC family sends deepest condolences to Mike’s family and friends.
