Fernando Beltrán, the president of Zanfer, recalled that the municipal president of Metepec, Fernando Flores Fernández, has supported the career of many athletes including the first classified and former world champion, Jaime Munguía.

In addition to his fights in Japan and England, Rosales has also fought in the United States and once in Mexico, in October 2017, knocking out Moroccan Mohammed Obbadi in 7 rounds.
