Rocky Heron, former DEA agent, showed the reality of drugs to the more than 800 students of CBTis 259 in Oaxaca with the reality of a stark and raw presentation.
The talk that is part of the WBC Cares project towards #CampeonesDeLaGuelaguetza made them think about consumption and the damage it could leave them in their body and social environment; via the use and abuse of substances such as cocaine and fentanyl.
The students also heard the life testimony of former champion José Luis López, who told them how he lost his title by making the bad decision to try drugs.
Bullying was also addressed, Beka Romero explained to them about this issue that affects young people in their performance not only in school, but also socially.
This Thursday’s session closed with the physical activation of boxing fitness by Rosy Olvera, who showed them the punches of boxing and reiterated the importance of practicing sports.
At the event, Arturo de Jesús Chávez, head of INDEPORTE of Oaxaca, gave the school director, Alba Gloria Piñón Ramírez, soccer balls, volleyballs and basketballs to promote sports among the student community.
