On this Day…  Nigel Benn defended his WBC title

1992.- Britain’s Nigel Benn defeated his compatriot, Nicky Piper via an eleventh round TKO, retaining his WBC super middleweight title, at the Alexandra Pavillion in London. The Referee was Larry O´Connell. The Judges were Mickey Vann, Adrian Morgan and Paul Thomas.
