World Boxing Council heavyweight champion Tyson Fury is good and ready to make one more defense of his belt this Saturday when he takes on tough challenger and interim WBC champion Dillian Whyte.
Saturday night will be one of the most important nights for London and Great Britain in their illustrious boxing history.
Wembley Stadium will be packed and an atmosphere rarely seen or heard before is expected.
Boxing fans are already eagerly looking forward to this titanic clash, being sure that this will be one of the best fights of the year.
Tyson Fury comes into this match with an undefeated record of 31 wins with 22 KO’s and 1 draw. In his last two fights he faced former monarch and KO artist Deontay Wilder, igniting epic battles.
Against Whyte, the “Gypsy King” wants to extend this feat.
In the other corner, Dillian Whyte, comes from facing the tough Alexander Povetkin twice, with them sharing a victory each. In their last fight he re-conquered the interim WBC title and now he is ready to become absolute monarch.
We share the public training and some choice words from the erudite “Gypsy King” Tyson Fury.
“My promise is you are going to get an excellent fight,” said Fury following four rounds of work with trainer SugarHill Steward.
“Dillian is bringing his A-game and he is going to fight the best Tyson Fury. We are going to give the fans a real treat, because you’ve got two top heavyweights in the world who are going to smash each other to bits for the entertainment of the paying customers.
“Don’t miss this one! There are going to be a lot of fireworks and a lot of bombs getting slung. I wonder who is getting knocked out first? It ain’t gonna be me, I’ll tell you that!
“I’m overwhelmed with the support I’ve had over the years. It’s been fantastic. 94,000 people, it’s unbelievable, it’s amazing stuff.”
“Frank Warren and the boys have done a fantastic job. It’s been a fabulous promotion. Looking forward to an absolutely fantastic event.”
