“The world has finally got it!
“Proud of Usyk, respect to Tyson. Let the best man win and we celebrate Usyk’s second undisputed!”
Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) has been the reigning heavyweight champion since November 2015. With almost 3 years out of boxing due to personal challenges, Fury made a comeback for the ages by defeating Deontay Wilder to claim the WBC world title in their rematch and ending their trilogy with a knockout victory in 2021.
Oleksander Usyk (21-0, 14 K0s), an Olympic Gold medalist, became the Undisputed Cruiserweight Champion, before moving up to the Heavyweight division.
He surprised many by defeating Anthony Joshua and securing the unified Heavyweight championship. Usyk then defended his titles in a rematch against Joshua and subsequently, Daniel Dubois. Currently, his goal is to become the second cruiserweight champion in history to attain undisputed status in the heavyweight division.
