The great former WBC world champion and pride of the boxing family, Francisco Vargas will participate in the 59th edition of the traditional WBC Talks, accompanied by athletes from Special Olympics, who have expressed their enthusiasm for sharing the space with one of the absolute greats of boxing.
The ideal man for this, as he`s shown that power comes not only from the fists but also the courage only found in the heart`s deepest recess.
Francisco, better known as “Bandido” will not only teach a boxing clinic showing basic punches, but also, will talk about his experiences inside the ring, how he started in the sport, how he fought for the world title and how to learn to get up when you have fallen to the canvas.
A more than special talk that we are sure will be a guide for our athletes facing intellectual challenges, and striving to overcome them, as having these types of experiences allows them to discover their strengths and abilities. As and just so, from the testimony of a boxer who has achieved his goals always inspires to follow dreams, via work with determination and a perpetual dedication.
