Saúl “Canelo” Álvarez will defend his super middleweight world titles against undisputed super welterweight world champion, Jermell Charlo, Saturday, September 30 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Canelo makes his third title defense against Charlo, in what will be the first confrontation of the four-belt era that pits two undisputed champions against each other.
Houston’s Charlo (35-1-1, 19 KOs) unified the super welterweight title in his last outing, knocking out Brian Castaño in the 10th round of their May 2022 rematch after they drew in July 2021.
