World Boxing Council welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr. suffered a serious traffic accident early this morning.
While there are no details about its causes, Errol is being treated in the Methodist Dallas Medical Center. He is currently in its Intensive Care Unit.
Errol Spence Jr. 29, comes from unifying the welterweight titles of the World Boxing Council and the International Boxing Federation several weeks ago, when he defeated Shawn Porter in one of the best and most thrilling fights of the year, so far. Errol has an undefeated record of 26 wins with 21 knockouts, and has shown during his career that he is a valiant warrior. We are confident he`ll make a steady and good recovery.
The World Boxing Council and its President Mauricio Sulaiman, ask the Boxing Family to join in prayer for the full recovery of our beloved Champion.
