The WBC mourns the passing of Rene Weller

Former European champion René Weller of Germany has passed away at the age of 69 after a long battle with illness.

Weller, was guided by the promotion of Wilfried Sauerland, was a national champion of Germany and was a popular fighter of the European Boxing Union (EBU)
In his later years, René held boxing exhibitions, in addition to other activities.
The entire WBC family sends our deepest condolences to René’s family and friends.
