The WBC mourns the death of Reinaldo Salazar

Deep mourning for Reinaldo Salazar Who has  died after complications from Covid-19.

He was a double world taekwondo medalist in Sttugart and Chicago. This great teacher  is remembered for the feat of turning his offspring  Oscar and Iridia in Athens 2004 into Olympic medalists, winning the silver and bronze respectively.

The World Boxing Council and its President  Mauricio Sulaimán, express their heartfelt condolences to his family and friends for this irreparable loss, as well as to the director of the National Commission for Physical Culture and Sport, Ana Gabriela Guevara.
