Many of the Leaders of WBC Cares met by zoom, to welcome new chapters and discuss a world where life has changed but hope has remained the same.

We are growing; from a time when boxers were not welcome in hospitals and schools to a new era, where their skills are found to be inspiring and the sport considered a basis of stability in a child’s life.
For this, we thank our champions, Genaro Hernández and Eric Morales, who accompanied me on our first visit to CHLA on October 10th, 2006. And also, Stephen Blea , our second visit, who took a group of boxers into a hospital in Colorado, and continues to achieve wonders.
It is a magnificent group of compassionate volunteers, trying to use the enormous platform the WBC has entrusted to us, to carry out Jose’s mission of service to others.
We discussed the many ways to reach people to express our love and concern during a pandemic, in which many gyms are closed and in person visits are unwelcome. Together we will come up with as many ideas and projects as possible to make this holiday better for many.
When so many good people from so many countries are passionate about giving there is always beauty and hope to share, and with joy.
