The courage inspiration and leadership of Dr Roxana

Dr. Roxana from Mexico City, is working and helping in one of the most challenged Covid 19 cases hospitals in the city: “Hospital Especialidades La Raza”  leading by example, by showing the utmost dedication to  service and love for what she does, always taking care as a family member of the people she treats.

This Hospital really and urgently needs more doctors,  so fearlessly stepping into the breach, Roxana  through herculean and magnificent efforts is monitoring more than 15 patients at a time!  She somehow gets through the tremendously  long shifts without resting , but she keeps strong and happy for the ones who so desperately need her expertise, but also essentially her calm, cheerfulness  and vitally are a boon plus a tonic. It`s lighting the bright flame from  the candle surviving a ferocious storm, by  providing the spirit of inspiration, in order  to maintain and bolster the fighting spirit, of those who are battling with everything they`ve got… and then some!  Despite being so very, very  tired, she  is seen wth more energy day  after day.  For immeasurable  courage like this,  words can`t match the heroic actions, we  can but wonder where this level of totally committed dedication comes from,  and simply marvel at it.

At the beginning  when  there was not enough medical supplies, Roxana  and her family took the lead. They got masks, shoes, and sanity equipment in order to help people, who were really up against it.

Every time she arrives home, Dr Roxana has to pay a personal price and commit to a heartfelt sacrifice, for her singular and sometimes lonely chosen path. She must  isolate from  her family in order to avoid risks, to keep them safe.  It is hard to adequately describe the tremendously hard work Roxana has  been going through  along with colleagues, nurses, and all Hopsital staff. This a unique moment.   We can never adequately repay them for the courage and extraordinary risks they come face to face with each and every day and in each and way.  We can for our part honor and recognize their supreme  efforts , solidarity, love, respect, union and  hard work.   Dr Roxana is an outstanding beacon of hope, dedication, courage plus  sheer dedication, providing the light at the end of a long and dark tunnel.
