Big puncher Miguel “Mickey” Roman says he`ll stamp his full authority on the event, when challenging WBC super featherweight champion Miguel “Alacran” Berchelt, letting his fists leave the punctuation marks, on November 3 at the Don Haskins Convention Center from El Paso, Texas.
“Mickey”, is training in California, supervised and guiding by Coach Rudy Hernandez at the Maywood Boxing Club, as he has done every day for the last two years. During that time span, he`s established himself as the worthy official challenger.
“I’m not aware of what he says. The truth is that It simply doesn’t bother me. Words are useless when you’re in the ring. I prefer to work very hard and let the results of my efforts speak for themselves and for me. To win, I don`t need to talk any more.
“It’s an opportunity that has taken years of work. I’ve earned it and I’ll take advantage of it,. I’m ready to get into the ring and exchange, to communicate, as you should in boxing, with straight to the point facts!”
The duel between “Micky” and “Alacrán” headlines the card is presented by Top Rank in association with Zanfer Promotions and Promociones del Pueblo.
