Successfully WBC Ring Officials seminar in Uzbekistan

On the 11-12th of August in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, at the invitation of the head of the Federation of Professional Boxing of Uzbekistan – Umid Yakubov – a WBC seminar for judges, referees and supervisors of professional boxing’s.

The seminar was attended by more than 20 professional judges and referees, as well as members of the local commission to improve their professionalism.

On August 11, the judges attended a referee seminar from Guido Cavalleri and were able to improve their level of professionalism by listening to the experience of an international ring official of the highest world level.

Also on the same day, Oksana Semenishina, member of the WBC Board of Governors, held a seminar for supervisors. On August 12, the judges got acquainted with the intricacies of the referee work in the ring and beyond.

Guido Cavalleri, having huge experience in the ring, in addition to basic knowledge, shared the intricacies of work. At the end of the seminars, the judges and referees had an exam to test the assimilation of the acquired knowledge.

On August 13, Humo Arena hosted a boxing show organized by LIFT Promotions, where professional fights took place, the winners of which will soon compete for the WBC Uzbekistan titles.

The fights were attended by Guido Cavalleri and Oksana Semenishina, who evaluated the work of the ring officials for further participation in boxing fights. Guido Cavalleri, evaluating the work of each referee after the end of his work, giving comments and advice on improving practical skills.
