“Stepping on the gas!” Ugas training hard to fight Barrios

On September 30, as part of the Saúl “Canelo” Álvarez vs. Jermell Charlo, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, former world champions Yordenis Ugas and Mario “El Azteca” Barrios will meet for the interim World Boxing Council welterweight title.

Ugas comes to this fight after falling in 2022 against Errol Spence Jr. For his part, Mario Barrios comes from conquering the WBC Continental Americas title, by knocking out Jovanie Santiago.
Yordenis has commented on various occasions that he wants to become a WBC Green and Gold champion, so he is preparing for this crucial fight at the Salas Boxing Academy guided by Ismael Salas.
