Stephen Fulton preparing for his first WBC title defence

Unified champion Stephen Fulton will defend his 122-pound titles against Daniel Roman on a card presented by Premier Boxing Champions and to be broadcast on Showtime on June 4.

Fulton (20-0, 8 KO’s) comes to this fight after winning the World Boxing Council super bantamweight title, defeating former champion Brandon Figueroa in an entertaining and hard fought battle last November.

Roman (29-3-1, 10 KOs) has won two fights since losing a split decision to Murodjon Akhmadaliev in a title fight in January 2020. The Los Angeles fighter had made four successful title defences, before being defeated in that bout.
