Two of Thailand’s best boxers of the last decade, Srisaket Sor Rungvisai and Amnat Ruenroeng, will face and fight each other in Bangkok on April 4.
Srisaket (47-5-1) surprised the world by beating Román González twice in 2017. The former WBC champion established himself as a great name in Thailand, but was defeated by Mexican Juan Francisco Estrada via UD.
Amnat (20-3) is the former 112-pound IBF champion. He is seven years older than Srisaket and comes from winning two consecutive fights in 2019.
The fight tests Amnat’s speed against the power of Srisaket according to the promoter.
“Srisaket Sor Rungvisai is more powerful than Amnat Ruenroeng. However, Amnat Ruenroeng is a very intelligent boxer. His boxing skills are not found in any other Thai boxer. He is not someone whom Rungvisai could easily defeat. I assure that boxing fans can anticipate an entertaining fight between the two,” said event promoter Thainchai Pisitwuttinan.
Srisaket Sor Rungvisai vs. Amnat Ruenroeng will air in Thailand on the Workpoint Entertainment channel on April 4 at 3PM (Thailand time).
