Jair “Carnes” Mejía is an intrepid boxer who, despite a hearing disability, has been able to adapt with brilliance and dedication to the world of boxing and who this Friday seeks another notable another victory in his career, topping the bill at “Talento de barrio” presented by Chiquita González Boxing.
The fight will take place on August 25 at the Marbet Hall, in Ciudad Nezahualcóyotl, State of Mexico, where “Carnes” Mejía will face Jorge Zárate in a fight agreed upon at a catch weight of 53,000 kilos and it will be broadcast by Hi Sports.
“Well, I already feel well prepared and strong for the fight, I feel well motivated and proud. My rival is strong and I hope that we both come out with our hands raised”
An admirer of the Mexican idol Juan Manuel Márquez, Jair Mejía knows that this fight will be special for him, since Jorge Zárate a boxer whom he has known for many years and is a friend, will be fighting him.
“We met many years ago, we became friends and we remain friends. Now as professionals we greet each other. I know him and that’s why we trained so hard. I want to be world champion. I love boxing, it’s my passion, and this fight is dedicated to the fans, I hope you enjoy it. And I send Jorge a message, I want both of us to go out well and get out of the ring safely”.
The “Neighborhood Talent” show will be organized by Chiquita Boxing and broadcast throughout Mexico. There will be seven professional fights that can be seen over the weekend, an evening for which tickets are already on sale and with which they continue to support all the national boxing and solid prospects.
