Selby and Martinez visit Addiction Prevention Center

Andrew Selby, from Wales, and Mexican Julio Cesar ¨Rey¨ Martínez, who will clash in a WBC flyweight eliminator this weekedn, visited the Center for the Prevention of Addictions in Metepec, State of Mexico, which offers free treatment.

Municipal President Mariana Cabeza Gamboa and the director of the DIF, Sara Lopez accompanied them on a tour. The fighters  will clash on Saturday March 23 at the fairgrounds of Metepec.

Both Boxers offered kind words of encouragement to women and men who are in treatment at the center.

 The president of the DIF thanked the visit and urged patients to become champions of their lives. “Rey” Martinez told them that in their lives, as in boxing, the triumph over addictions depends upon them. Andrew Selby, wished them success in the battle they face.
