Today a most interesting talk that started with the owner of the legendary boxing gym “Gleason´s Gym”, Bruce Silverglade telling us brilliant stories, remembering the more than 100 world champions who have been produced in this iconic place in New York, among many other anecdotes.

The conversation quickly moved to the role of this stage in the development of women’s boxing, since from its origins they distinguished themselves by breaking the status quo and developing actions for the benefit of women.

Heather Hardy, a champion in and out of the ring, gave her opinion, and spoke about her difficult steps transforming prejudices, but also motivated us to make a greater effort for the overall advancement of the sport.

Mark Taffet also talked about his efforts and talked about his projects going in the same direction. He urged the community to unite for the benefit of sport.
