An Aug. 13 card in Colombia featuring three World Boxing Council-sanctioned title fights, to be headlined by champion Bridger Oscar Rivas against Lukasz Rozanski, has been postponed, promoter Yvon Michel confirms.
Yvon commented that a date has not yet been set for the rescheduling of the fight, which was to be Rivas’ debut in his country. Rivas (28-1, 19 KOs) became the first WBC Bridger world champion last year, defeating Ryan Rozicki.
The undercard featured two women’s title fights, including the return of legendary former champion Cecilia Braekhus (36-2, 9 KO) against super welterweight champion Patricia Berghult (15-0, 3 KO). In addition to the heavyweight champion Hanna Gabriels (21-2-1, 12 KO), who would be defending her crown for the first time.
More details about the new date of this card are expected soon.
