Trinidad and Tobago boxer Lorissa Rivas will face veteran Guyanese fighter Gwendoline O’Neil for the vacant heavyweight title of the World Boxing Council on October 26 at the Saith Park Indoor Arena in Chaguanas, Trinidad and Tobago.
Both warriors had agreed to go up to the ring last Saturday but due to problems with the promotion, the fight was rescheduled for October 26.
The combat of Rivas and O’Neil will be the first to be held in Trinidad and Tobago for the WBC heavyweight title.
