Mexican Rey Vargas, featherweight champion of the World Boxing Council, will face British Nick Ball, as part of a card that will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Friday, March 8 which will feature the heavyweight clash Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou.
Vargas, 33 years old, who has a record of 36 victories in 37 fights, with 22 by knockout, with one loss, will make the first defense of his WBC featherweight title.
Ball, 26, is undefeated with a record of 19 wins, winning 11 by knockout, having his first opportunity to become world champion. He currently holds the WBC Silver title.
